What you can do
- Play along — the chart follows the song. Click a measure to jump there.
- Fix a chord — double-click a name (for example Bbm7 → Bbm). It stays saved.
- Other fingerings — click a diagram, then pick one of the three positions.
- Chart style — Smooth, Balanced, or Detailed.
- PDF — download the chart as you see it on screen.
- Private — files never leave this PC.
How it works
- Download the Mac DMG or Windows zip. A how-to guide is in the same folder.
- Open Chord Chart. It opens in your browser at
127.0.0.1. - Drop a song. Play, jump, edit, and save a PDF. Nothing is uploaded.

macOS
- Open
Chord-Chart.dmg - Drag Chord Chart to Applications
- Open How to use Chord Chart.html for the guide
- Open Chord Chart
If macOS blocks it: right-click the app → Open.
Windows
- Unzip
ChordChart-Windows.zip - Open How to use Chord Chart.html for the guide
- Double-click ChordChart.exe
If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway.
System requirements
- Windows 10+ or macOS 12+
- No Python or ffmpeg install — both are inside the app
